Why “Tachyon”? A tachyon is the hypothetical particle that travels faster than light. We took the name because speed is the point: from the first call to a system in production, and in the latency and cost of every system we ship.
We started Tachyon after years of building generative AI inside large enterprises and fast-moving product teams: multi-agent platforms processing tens of millions of tokens a day, retrieval engines over hundreds of gigabytes of logs, evaluation frameworks that caught the failures nobody was measuring, and the data pipelines underneath all of it.
The pattern was always the same. Ideas were plentiful. Prototypes were quick. Production was where things fell apart: no evaluation, no guardrails, no observability, and a hand-off to a team that had never seen the code.
So we built a studio around the unglamorous parts. Every engagement ships with a golden set, a regression harness, traces and runbooks. Senior engineers scope the work and build it. And everything, including the models and the prompts, is yours.
